I am Louann Hoyt. I’m a wife and mother of 2 grown children; a son and a daughter and grandmother of 2 grandchildren; a boy who is 6 and a girl who is 3 and they are the highlights of my life. Having worked over 40 years in hospital billing and management, I enjoyed my career and made many wonderful friendships there. My husband worked equally as long in finance and marketing in the Aerospace industry with travel being a large part of his career. We are both excited and happy about what our retirement life has in store for us. I have often infused humor in many situations in my life and hope to do that in my blog called Designing Retirement. I am blessed to be able to spend most of the year in Southwest Florida and occasionally touch down in New England to visit our children and grandchildren especially for birthdays and holidays and special occasions. This blog is about taking each day of retirement and making the most of it while sharing experiences with others that are in this stage of their lives, too.
